Conscious Dance as Activism:
Facilitator Development Training Program
This is a 9-month training program for people inspired by the common thread of embodied practice, to deepen their study of movement as a transformative process, and receive mentorship and support in pursuing their own inspired, informed, authentic activism.
Throughout this immersive program, we use the transformative power of conscious dance, indigenous wisdom, and relational process work to guide participants towards a fully embodied expression of their own gifts, in the form of a self-designed community project. We come together in our human bodies, in service of the greater Earth body that is our home.
Through intensive study of conscious movement and facilitation, as well as ancient and contemporary nature-based practices, social and ecological justice, gender reconciliation and peacemaking, sexuality & creativity, emotional intelligence and trauma, council, ritual & ceremony, and ancestral healing & recovery, we carve our own paths towards the healing of our world in this time of global crisis.
This training is for people who want to make a difference in their communities, and are willing to do the work within themselves, in order to do so. It has been created by people who have been transformed by dancing, and recognize the ways that dancing together can change the world.
